Thera AITherapy-focused journaling with multilingual agents.
01
How it started
At the AI Summit Series 2025 at the Jacob Javits Center in New York, my team and I were brainstorming project ideas across the weekend. One thread kept surfacing. Mental health, specifically how few people have the freedom to keep a digital private journal that supports them in a personalized way and stays local to them. We took that gap and built Thera AI around it.
02
What we built
A journaling surface backed by multilingual agents built with Python, Hugging Face, and OpenAI. Mood and emotion analytics roll up into a dashboard. A weather layer adds environmental signals, so if the data suggests a low-light, low-movement day is dragging mood, the agent can recommend a mood-elevating location nearby.
03
Outcome
We finished as runners-up in the Fetch.AI Innovation Lab track. More importantly, it was my first serious agentic build, and the handoff between analytics, translation, and recommendation agents is a pattern I have reused since.
